WELCOME TO THE RALLY When you arrive at the campground you can pick up your welcome package along with some great welcoming gifts. Mingle with the other participants and make a few new friends as we settle in for an enjoyable few days
WINE AND CHEESE Meet all the Rally by the Sea participants at the opening wine and cheese event sponsored by Pleasure-Way Industries
STEAK/LOBSTER DINNER Enjoy a delicious steak or lobster supper with a baked potato and salad cooked right at the campground
BBQ EVENT Have a hamburger or hotdog prepared by the campground staff while you mingle with your newfound friend at the Rally
CASH CAB SHUTTLE SERVICE Use the golf cart shuttle to get around and win some cash prizes for answering trivia questions
NIGHTLY ENTERTAINMENT Enjoy nightly entertainment in the recreation building from 9PM to 11PM on Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday evening. We will have local entertainers on hand and you can sit with your new found friends and enjoy the evening. On Wednesday evening you are in for real treat as we feature Mussels and Music which is sure to please.
PRESENTATIONS Learn about the latest news, innovations, vans with information from the experts
VAN REPAIRS AND ADVICE Phil Nickel from Pleasure-Way Industries will tour the vans throughout the rally offering advice, guidance and doing minor tweaks.
NAME THAT TUNE Test your skill at figuring out the name of popular songs with lots of great prizes. Guaranteed to be lots of fun and you will probably go home with that certain melody playing over and over in your head.
DOG TRAINING SEMINAR Karen Laws from Ontario Dog Trainer will be providing an informative session on how to train your dog…pets are welcome to attend. Karen will also be booking on a first come-first served basis individual dog training sessions at your campsite for a fee.
VAN-TASTIC GADGETS AND WOW This is a show and tell event to showcase your favourite kitchen gadget and share unique living ideas, tools and tricks. Bring along your must-have gadgets, clever hacks and innovative solutions for everyone to see.
VAN OPEN HOUSE It is always interesting to see what other Class B owners have done with their vans and the ingenious modifications to make vans more functional and useful. Tour the vans present at the Rally to discover any modifications and layouts of other vans. If you wish to show off your modifications to the group…place a sign in your windshield indicating that you are OPEN for tours. Prizes will be awarded for the best modification and best OPEN HOUSE hosts.
SWAP MEET Do you have some gently used RV parts or equipment that you no longer use that you want to sell or give to other Rally Participants then this is the place to do it. Come on out to the Recreation Building and find your treasure…don’t be late the good items always go fast
PIZZA PARTY Have a slice of pizza at the campground with your old and new found friends and plan out your future activities
BINGO Play BINGO and win some great prizes
CRAFTY CAMPERS Bring your own craft projects (needlework, sewing, painting, carving etc…) to work on and show off your creative skills. A time for chit chat and see what others are working on … you may even get some helpful hints or advice.
ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION The Rally by the Sea has four electric recumbent tricycles that participants can use to experience the thrill of riding a trike while getting some exercise.
Campground
The campground for the 2025 Rally by the Sea will be the Twin Shores Camping Area in Darnley, Prince Edward Island. The Twin Shores Camping Area is a full feature camping resort with a well stocked store, plenty of laundry facilities, on-site snack bar, theatre and recreation building. The campground has 3 different beaches and almost 4 km of coastline on-site!
The Gulf of St Lawrence Beach is one of the finest on the North Shore of PEI…feel the sand between your toes and swim in the some of the warmest ocean waters north of Virginia. Sunbathe, swim, or just kick back and relax to the sounds of the waves. Don’t forget to come back in the evening to catch that unforgettable Twin Shores sunset. Located a short walk down our sandy beach is the famous “teacup” rock as well as 2 lighthouses.
The Darnley Basin Beach is a perfect spot for beachcombing and exploring. Try your luck at clam digging on this beach for a true Prince Edward Island experience!
Profitt’s Point Beach is often referred to as the “Nature Beach” or the “3rd Beach”. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to get away from it all and connect with nature, this is the beach for you. The “3rd Beach” is also home to the Twin Shores endangered species habitat. We are proud to be home to a nest of piping plover shore birds.
The registration and campground fees for the Rally include:
campsite fees; wine and cheese; steak/lobster night; BBQ; pizza party; Pleasure-Way presentations; advice and small repairs to your van from the PW team; live local entertainment each evening; Name that Tune; BINGO; Cash Cab; Crafty Campers; Fantastic Gadgets and WOW; shuffleboard and horseshoe tournament; Van open house and a plethora of prizes throughout the Rally.
At the Rally you can take one of our recumbent trikes for a spin (free of charge), get valuable tips on training your dog, play pickle ball or tennis; or just relax on one of the three beaches.
If you choose to arrive early or stay later arrangements must be made directly with the campground for the extra days.
ROLEF Screens
ROLEF Screens are a high quality, custom fit screen made for Class B Recreational Vehicles. ROLEF has agreed to come to the Rally by the Sea to install screens on RVs and showcase their products. The advantage to Rally participants is that they can get free professional installation and free shipping of their ROLEF screens. ROLEF may be contacted directly at info@rolef.ca to place an order or make arrangements for serving of existing products.
