Who ARE WE?

HISTORY

The Rally by the Sea started in 2017 as an annual Pleasure-Way Rally in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews by the Sea.  Today, the Rally by the Sea holds annual rallies in different venues each year for all Class B and Class B+ Recreational Vehicles.

2017

The Rally by the Sea is born and the first rally saw 49 vans and 93 people in attendance

2018

The Rally by the Sea grows to 73 vans and 133 people. New events are added and a post rally tour of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island is held with 11 vans participating

2019

The Rally by the Sea grows to 81 vans and 147 people with even more events and a post rally tour to Newfoundland with 21 vans participating that was unfortunately cancelled due to weather conditions

2020

The Rally by the Sea is incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation, creates a new website and begins accepting credit cards as a form of payment.  The rally reserves 115 campsites and organizes a post rally tour to Quebec.  Rally is cancelled due to health concerns about COVID 19

2021

The Rally by the Sea continues to expand.  To keep the program of events fresh and interesting and to reduce reliance on any one campground, the Rally by the Sea decides to hold the rally in a different venue each year.  To provide memorable visitor experience, the Rally by the Sea partners with Shore Excursions Group to provide a wider variety of high quality tours.  Unfortunately, strict COVID border restrictions force the cancellation of the 2021 Rally

2022

The Rally by the Sea expands to two Rallies per year with one Rally in the United States and one Rally in Canada.  The 2022 venues are Saint John, New Brunswick for the Summer Rally by the Sea and Boston/Cape Cod for the Fall Rally by the Sea.  The Newfoundland Adventure a 17 day trip to the mysterious island of Newfoundland is also back by popular demand.

2023

The Rally by the Sea held the annual Rally by the Sea in beautiful Quebec City for 91 vans and 175 people.  The   The Post Rally Tour dubbed the Coastal Adventure sees 36 vans go on an incredible 10 day excursion around the Gaspe Peninsula through Northern New Brunswick and finishing in Prince Edward Island.
